Celebrating Outstanding Success Across Year 13 and Year 11
Orion Coopers proudly celebrates a summer of outstanding achievement as both our Year 13 and Year 11 students secure exceptional results. Their dedication, resilience and ambition have set a new benchmark for excellence across our community.
SIXTH FORM RESULTS – STRONGEST IMPROVEMENT ACROSS THE TRUST
We are delighted to celebrate a significant improvement in our Sixth Form results this summer, with Orion Coopers recording the strongest improvement at Key Stage 5 across the Orion Education Trust.
The average A-level grade rose from a C to a C+, with the majority of subjects improving their average grade. Particularly strong results were achieved in English Language and Textiles, where the average grade was a B, Mathematics at B-, and Photography and Economics at B-.
Our vocational students also achieved some excellent outcomes, with particularly strong results in Sport and Business.
Behind these results are the individual achievements of our students, many of whom have secured places at first choice university destinations. We are enormously proud of the commitment and ambition they have shown and wish them every success in the next stage of their lives.
Year 11 – GCSE Success
We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of our Year 11 pupils as they receive their GCSE results. We are incredibly proud of the hard work, determination and resilience they have shown throughout their time at Orion Coopers.
This year, 65.5% of pupils achieved a Grade 4 or above in both English and Maths, with 46.4% achieving a Grade 5 or above. Both measures remain above the national average. There were strong outcomes across a range of subjects, alongside improvements in Mathematics, Computer Science, Media Studies, Science, French and PE.
There were also some outstanding individual achievements. These results represent years of commitment from our pupils, and we are delighted to recognise and celebrate their successes.
We are proud of every pupil and the progress they have made during their time at Orion Coopers. Our thanks go to our dedicated staff and to the parents and carers who have supported them throughout their time with us. We wish all our Year 11 pupils every success as they take their next steps, and we are delighted to welcome many of them back to continue their studies in our Sixth Form.
A Community Achievement
These results reflect the dedication of students, staff, parents and carers working together to create extraordinary outcomes. Orion Coopers celebrates not only academic excellence, but the perseverance and potential of every learner.
