Congratulations Class of 2025

 We are thrilled to celebrate an extraordinary milestone in Orion Coopers history, as our Year 11 pupils collected the best GCSE results on record. Their achievements are nothing short of exceptional, reflecting five years of determination, ambition and relentless effort. This is a moment of immense pride for our entire community. This summer marked the pupils’ first experience of formal external assessments, and they delivered in style. This cohort has made the most academic progress of any Year 11 group to date, setting a new benchmark for excellence.

We are proud to share that a record-breaking number of top grades were achieved, with more Grade 8s and 9s awarded than ever before. Adrian led the way with a phenomenal set of eight Grade 9s. Chloe also achieved an incredible six Grade 9s and three Grade 8s (and D/D*), while Ruby achieved four Grade 9s, four Grade 8s and one Grade 7. Ella and Dami each secured four Grade 9s and four Grade 8s, with Dami also gaining D/D*. Ola earned four Grade 9s, two Grade 8s, a Grade 7 and two Grade 6s, Fynn two Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and four Grade 7s and Ellie two Grade 9s, two Grade 8s, four Grade 7s and a Grade 6. Matilda also impressed with one Grade 9, one Grade 8, four Grade 7s and four Grade 6s.  More pupils than ever are finishing Year 11 having achieved strong passes - Grade 5 and above - in both English and Maths, marking another standout achievement.

We are incredibly proud of every pupil’s success. Each grade is a story of hard work, resilience and growth. We are also delighted to be welcoming so many of this exceptional cohort back into our thriving Sixth Form, where their talents and ambitions will continue to flourish. Our sincere thanks go to our dedicated staff, and to the parents and carers who have supported this phenomenal year group every step of the way.
